WHERE WE STARTED
Local roots.
A bigger team.
Missouri Steel started as a team in the Mineral Area Baseball Association. As the group grew, players from other local teams joined us for tournament baseball.
That spirit is still the heart of Steel: bringing kids and families together around a game they love. Our tournament program gives players an opportunity to develop alongside new teammates and represent the Mineral Area.
We’re building something that can grow with the boys, while keeping the focus on the things that matter now: learning, effort, friendship, and enjoying the game.
BUILT THROUGH THE GAME
Compete hard.
Stay teammates.
At this age, development and competition belong together. We want the boys learning how to make the next play while also learning what it means to pick up the teammate standing next to them.
THE STEEL MOTTO
Work Hard.
Be A Good Teammate.
Have Fun.
Three simple things we want every Missouri Steel player to carry onto the field and beyond it.
Work Hard.
Bring effort to practice, games, and every repetition. Learn the fundamentals, stay coachable, and keep working toward the next improvement.
Be A Good Teammate.
Celebrate someone else’s good play, pick each other up after mistakes, communicate, and remember that the name on the front of the jersey belongs to everyone.
Have Fun.
Compete hard without losing what youth baseball should be: friends, big moments, shared memories, and a game the boys are excited to keep playing.
